Are these the sexiest new plants for 2014…?

Now here are some plants that have their own allure, well… in all honesty, they’re damn right sexy! From the velvety black tones of Petunia ‘Black Night’ to the seductive pink of Fuchsia ‘Pink Elephant’; each of these plants has a certain ‘je ne sais’!

Petunia ‘Black Night’

A tip for the top at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, this startling petunia is the first double-flowered, black petunia! Each flower just oozes charisma, and has a velvet sheen, which sparkles in the sunlight. It’s just utterly, jaw-droppingly gorgeous!

Alstroemeria ‘Indian Summer’

When looking for a punch of colour in the border, you can’t go wrong with trusty Peruvian Lilies. But, this one’s a real show-stopper, with super colourful orchid-like flowers, as well as hunky purple foliage. Everyone who sees this loves it!

Fuchsia ‘Pink Elephant’

Big, blousy, almost burlesque; and in hot, sexy pink! Fuchsia ‘Pink Elephant’ is so fancy, it almost looks like a carnation when you tip it upside down too!

Carnation ‘Crimson Rim’

This carnation has smudged lipstick edges, now you can’t get cheekier than that! With a traditional spicy aroma, this carnation is super hardy, and lasts for years in the garden!

Cerinthe major ‘Purpurascens’

Yummy! I just find this plant absolutely delicious!! Psychedelic colourings; glittery blue, scarlet-red and a smattering of yellow too! One of those plants you can afford to let run wild through your borders, ooh kinky!
