It’s time for a World Naked Gardening Day 2019 photo round-up! I’ve been following the #WorldNakedGardeningDay hashtag and I’m impressed at the standard this year – plant geeks and gardening enthusiasts all over the world are getting in on the action, and taking it one step further by spreading the word on social media.
It wouldn’t be World Naked Gardening Day without a Mr Plant Geek photo round-up, would it? Just like previous years, I’ve put together a list of my favourite naked gardening photos that you’ve shared on social media. But this time I’ve divided the posts into the best of men’s and women’s. Up next: women’s.
Has yours made the cut? Have a look below!

Glad the sun’s out… Happy #WorldNakedGardeningDay!
It is a huge challenge for me to reveal all, so may well delete this later 😂 but right now I’m in the mood for being brave & having fun.
Seriously, get in the garden… it makes you smile ☺https://t.co/BO8l6Rn9UX pic.twitter.com/sh3lIfM1w4

How are you celebrating World Naked Gardening Day 2019? Let me know in the comments section below!

Michael has been involved with gardening and plants since he was just five years old. He is a self-professed Plant Geek, and was listed in the Sunday Times top 20 most influential people in the gardening world, thanks to his plant hunter role at Thompson & Morgan.
Michael was responsible for new plant introductions such as the Egg and Chips plant and the FuchsiaBerry and keeps busy travelling the world in search of new plants as well as lecturing worldwide, including stints in Japan. He is very active on social media – so why not give him a follow at @mr_plantgeek or Facebook – and writes a plant-focused Substack called Grow This, Not That.

Hello, Mr. Plant Geek! I’ve been a (mostly silent) long-time follower of your blog and Twitter account, and I’m a huge fan!
Just wrote my own article on the embodied, sensual experience of World Naked Gardening Day in advance of the holiday this year, and I think your readers might enjoy it. You can find it here: https://gardenerspath.com/how-to/beginners/world-naked-gardening-day/.
