Weird & Wacky Plants

For the duration of 2019, I pledged 20% of takings from every Weird & Wacky Plant Show to Greenfingers Charity, raising £1040 in total!

Greenfingers create magical and inspiring gardens for children to use for play, relaxation and therapeutic rest. This donation will therefore go directly to benefit children all over the UK who spend time in hospices.

A national charity, Greenfingers Charity is driven by the belief that time spent outdoors, away from the bedside, can offer children and families a vital opportunity to embrace the benefits of being in the fresh air and engaging with the natural environment’.

It has been proven that spending time outside can improve health and wellbeing. Not only can you benefit from a rise in vitamin D levels, it’s also a chance to exercise, and interact with and learn about the natural world.

With this in mind, I’m pleased to say that my Weird & Wacky Plants tour can contribute to this worthy cause. You can find out more about Greenfingers Charity, and make a donation, on their website here.
