World Naked Gardening Day - women's feature

If you’ve been scrolling through your Instagram feed and wondering why all your favourite gardeners are out in the nude, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s World Naked Gardening Day! And it couldn’t have come at a much better time, when we all need a little bit of joy and entertainment.

If you didn’t know, World Naked Gardening Day is a fun, positive and lighthearted movement designed to celebrate the human body and nature, and the benefits that combining the two can bring.

Follow the #WorldNakedGardeningDay hashtag to see more (literally) from all your favourite gardeners and Plant Geeks. Turn off your lawn sprinkler controllers, head to your garden and join in with World Naked Gardening Day!

As I do every year, I’ve put together a round-up of my favourite World Naked Gardening Day photos. I’ve split these up into two posts: women’s and men’s. In this post, it’s all about the women! Click here to see the men’s post.

  • Oh, these are quite interesting photos and very quirky at that! Fun to look at too. I’m interested in this celebration but I bet my husband wouldn’t let me do this! 😀
